For some unknown reason, my main computer is rebooting(i don't know if it's more like a shutdown, because it I see a blank screen, could hear the hardrives turning off, then the computer restarts and I could hear the harddrives turning on again) itself during the startup process. It reboots/shutdowns right after the windows loading screen and before my desktop actually shows up.

I've turned off the "Automatically restart" feature and get the following error message:

"The Windows Logon Process system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000022 (0x00000000 0x0000000)
The system has been shutdown."


The computer works fine in safe mode.



Specs:

Windowns XP Pro
AMD XP 2200
768MB DDR RAM
120GB and 40GB Maxtor harddrives
Radeon 9800 Pro
Samsung DVD Burner
Liteon 16x DVD Drive
450W Power Supply

Tried that, same thing happens. Reboots itself before getting to desktop.

Whats the last application you added/deleted or anything major you changed, any idea's?

Also in SafeMode get into the EventViewer (Accessories>Administrative Tools) and look for errors under any of the left listed labels. You'll need to double-click each line to open it and see what the error is reading. Look for errors before and after the time of the last automatic shutdown you experienced.

I will try to remove the applications that I installed recently(can't really remember which ones though)

Here are the error messages I got under Event viewer for Application:

1) "The COM+ Event System detected a bad return code during its internal processing. HRESULT was 8007043C from line 44 of d:\nt\com\com1x\src\events\tier1\eventsystemobj.cpp. Please contact Microsoft Product Support Services to report this error." (Source= EventSystem, Category=50, Event=4609)

2) "Volume Shadow Copy Service error: Unexpected error calling routine CoCreateInstance. hr = 0x80040206." (Source=VSS, Event=4609)
