Hello

I am new, so I am not to sure on where to post this question

I have a 939Dual-VSTA with BIOS: American Megatrends Inc.

When im sitting on my computer, before i had upgraded, i would occasionally bump the desk on which the tower sits on, and it never ever restarted from being bumped. After purchasing this new board above, if i plug something in, it restarts, if i give it more then a gentle touch; it restarts. Often i have to reseat the ram; yet its brand new; but its been a while since that has had to be done. Im really confused as to why this is happeneing. Could it be that the board is fried?

Sounds like a flakey connection, power to be specific. Unplug machine and
check all connections. Ensure that motherboard is not shorting out to the
case, wayward screw and whatnot.
