Since installing Windows XP Home Edition I have been having problems running certain games. Specifically Sim City 3000 and Roller Coaster Tycoon. When I start the games everything works fine but 5 to 10 minutes into the game the computer will spontaneously reboot with no visible error message. This problem only happens with those two games.
Any help is appreciated.

check your temps...

check the temps, and try it with the case open.

sounds to me like it overheats, SC3k does that to my ex girlfriends' machine.

Do you have the latest video driver installed and did you get all of the MS updates that are relative to your system?

Did you look in the event log to see if anything was logged? You can also turn off "reboot on error" to avoid it just rebooting when it hits a fatal error, then the blue screen displays an error code.
