Hi.

I have this problem with a computer in my office. In the past week or so, it's started doing this thing where it will go into some kind of hibernate or sleep mode or something. The screen shuts off, and the power light on the system blinks orange, and it does not respond to anything but holding down the power button until the system shuts off (which isn't how sleep or hibernate modes should work, to my recollection).

I've tried fiddling with the various power options to no avail.

No idea how this started, but if anyone has any idea what the cause or solution might be, please let me know. Please let me know if there's any info that would be helpful in diagnosing the problem.

what is the reading for the 5v+ line in the bios
have you set monitor and h/drives to always on in the power options

I don't see anything with "5v+" in my bios - could it possibly go under a different name?

It never occurred to me to look in the bios, but now that you've given me the idea, I fiddled with some of the power options in there that looked like they could possibly be related. We'll see if it makes a difference.

the temps and voltages are usually under harware monitor or some similar wording
