Computer problems

Ok, so I've been having RAM problems. My boss at the computer labs (a very knowledgeable man) identified the errors as bad RAM, or possibly a bad RAM slot or motherboard issue. (They were minidump errors, cause random reboots and such). So he said to remove one RAM chip, boot up, and check for the error. If I still had it, replace that RAM chip and remove the other, and see if that worked, and he sent me to Memtest to check the RAM.
Now, for some reason I'm unable to get Memtest to work at the moment, and he'll help me with that tomorrow. In the meantime, I removed each RAM chip one at a time, but still got the errors on ocassion. Then today, I ran HijackThis like I do every week, and noticed something new in the logs - i'll post the full log below, but here's the new item:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [KernelFaultCheck] %systemroot%\system32\dumprep 0 -k

The rest of the log looks normal. Should I remove this item? I'm sure it's related to my RAM/motherboard error, but I'm not sure if it's causing the problem, or helping fix the problem.

Anyway, here's the full log, and thanks!

Lets see, you've told us that your having RAM problems. You told us your Boss said it could be bad memory or a Bad RAM slot on the Mobo. But you never told us what kind of problems your having. (Bad RAM doesnt say much) So my question is, what problems are you having with your memory?

Its not causing your problem only noting it. Also Bearshare is a p2p file sharing program, I strongly recommend that you remove it.
Check the error messages by looking in the Event Viewer (Start->Settings->Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Event Viewer).
