issues with slowness and shutdowns was never as good as when i got it maybe some help for faster improvements or problems on proccesses

have windows 7 home premium service pack 1 pent R duel core t4500 @
2.30ghz 2.30ghz ram 2.00gb 64-bit operating COMPAQ laptop

Hi and welcome to TSF,

Run disk cleanup.

Have ran a virus scan? if not update your virus signatures and do so. No need to post logs.


Then run chkdsk /r from a cmd prompt and follow instructions.

Run disk defragmenter.

See if issue improves.

Your image is too small to read i am afraid.

Your process list looks fine and agree with Janae add another 2GB ram stick in the system it will improve sorry missed that info it was middle of the night for me.

Windows 7 64bit requires 2GB of RAM minimum. Minimum meaning it will run slow on just 2GB of RAM. As mentioned your best bet will be to upgrade to 4GB of RAM or more.
