Hello, i know alot about computers but not sure whats wrong this time. when i turn my computer on it seems to recieve power to the mother board and all of the hardware, as the fans are running and lights are showing and harddrive is working, Nothing seems to show up on the monitors screen, Its running windows 7 ultimate and the graphics card is an ATI radeon hd 4850 512mb. I tried using onboard graphics, But no luck, My friend tells me it could be the Motherboard but i seem to think the Power supply isnt pushing out enough power as it once was, Its 800 watts. any help would be much appreciated!!!

well a little update, I was looking around and found if you rub an eraser on the ram pins, it will remove the static electricity which can sometimes prevent proper function. so i did this and sure of luck my computer had something on the screen, But nothing i'd ever seen before, If i could explain it i would but i was so pleased i had thought my computer was fixed i had forgot, And it had me hit f1 for default settings or something, And when i clicked them it said NTLDR missing i think, Which i've had before but i've easily fixed it by going into bios and Hitting fail safe settings. I tried the eraser trick again but now i get nothing.

cmos reset
turn the computer off
remove the power lead from the back
take the side off
remove the cmos battery
move the cmos jumper from pins 1 and 2 to pin 2 and 3 and the back to pins 1 and 2
reinsert the battery
put the side on
replug in the power lead
boot the computer

there can be 2 solder points you touch with a screwdriver
2 pins you touch with a screwdriver or use a jumper
a cmos clear switch or button
there will be a diagram and instructions in your manual

yeah i tried without the 4850 in my board, No luck. the computer im currently on is an old pentium 4 windows xp computer, i dont have anything to test the psu on i dont think,

Another update, Well when i take the graphics card off the Mobo and try to use onboard graphics it just shuts off the motherboard repeatedly. Sounds like the mobo needs to be replaced, I'm not too sure, any advice?
