Computer not loading internet pages

Hello, When I go online Something will not load. After I log into AOL it will not load all the way. Same with internet explorer. If I go to youtube the video will not load. I am not sure if this is my Java. I downloaded Adobe Media Player and things were working, ok.. not today I am having the same problems. can anyone help me?
