My computer started making low, inconsistent buzzing sounds yesterday and it's continuing today. I'm guessing it's the fan making the noise or something. There is a guy coming to the house to fix the other computer we have, and I'm guessing when he comes over he can fix this problem too, but that's not until thursday. I was wondering if it would be safe to use the computer from now until thurs when the guy comes over? Or should I not be using it in case it overheats or something? I'm not very good at computers and when I try to do something myself it usually messed something up. Thanks in advance.

As with any noise, the source needs to be determined. Remove the side of the PC, boot it up and see if you can determine the source. If you don't feel comfortable doing that I would suggest not using the PC until the "guy" arrives.
