I have a Toshiba w/Vista Home Premium. Yesterday, it was installing updates; it got to "installing update 3 of 3-83%" and it hung. It kept restarting over and over. I finally uplugged it & took out the battery for the evening, after I'd done that about 10 times.

Is there any way I can make it "go back"? It's so aggravating! You guys are The Best! Thanks.

I have resolved the problem; I put the battery back in & plugged it back in this morning. A screen came up saying my computer couldn't start & I should try the repair tool, which I did, and thankfully it worked!
