Hi Guys
Well the title pretty much says it. I boot my computer it checks ide channels list the drives on the channels and then freezes.. F12, delete etc dont work. However when I press the reboot button everything works fine...?
Please if anyone has any ideas

Could be a failing C: drive.

Or, it could be also a PSU going South. Some times they do that and work intermittently.

My first suspicion would be the PSU. You could run the Hdd manufacturer's diagnostics on the Hdd to check it.

Thanks for the replies, I have ran a few HDD diagnostic tools and the drives had no problems my PSU is a 450W Generic PSU that came with case, could that be the problem? What else can I try?

Very possible the PSU is the problem.

Custom Build- Brand & Model of Mobo-CPU-RAM-Graphics-PSU
