computer does not turn on

Won't start at all? Have you tried a different outlet? Do you know if that outlet works for sure? No POST beeps? Nothing?

Im, not sure exactly whats the case but you can try disconnecting the power source from your case and holding the power button down for about 15 seconds... its called a hard reset. See if that works, maybe try reseating your ram aswell (just take it out and put it back in)

other than that maybe check the wire connections with your power button and the board... thats all i can think of.

If the cpu is fried it won't power either, I had that happen with an AMD chip I fried, but the monitor LED still came on.
