I was wondering if i can run it on my system.....

My specs are

Dell GX270 Optiplex
Intel D865 MB
Pentium IV 3.0 GHZ
1 GB RAM
Geforce FX 5500 (Shader model 2.0)
80 GB HD
LG 18X DVD RW

I am above minimum requirements...

Depends how well you wanted to run it. A 6600GT (the generation after your card) hits about 20FPS on medium settings. You may be able to run it, but it wouldn't look pretty.
