Comp won't turn on...

I was playing WoW like any other day when my comp turned off for no reason.
I have a custom built PC but i've never updated any components since i got it (around 1 1/2 yrs ago)
When i try to turn it back on it will flicker on and off only once then it wont even flicker if i press the on button again.

PLZ HELP

Specs:

Motherboard: Asus M3A78-CM / AMD780V SB700
Video Card: GeForce 9500 GT 512MB
RAM : Corsair 1Gb DDR2-800 (x2)
CPU : AMD Phenom 9850 Quad-Core 2.5Ghz
Power Supply : ATX 450W PSU

What brand is the 450W PSU.

Do you have or can you borrow another PSU to test the system with.

Remove the Nvidia card and test with onboard graphics.

First and foremost suspect would be the 450W PSU. Knowing the Brand & Model of the PSU would help us to be more definite.

Found my PSU : XION LC-8460BTX Simple Power 450W ATX Power Supply

sadly I don't have another PSU to use to test

I tried running with onboard graphics but still won't turn on

I too suspect your power supply. If you can borrow one from a friend or go to Stapes or Best Buy and purchase one to try in there, you would have your answer. If that is not the issue, you can return (some charge a small restocking fee) to BestBuy or Staples as a rule with no issues.
