Hi, I have an Acer Aspire 5315 laptop and I've filled it up wth so much junk that it'd take forever to delete everything and even then it probably wouldn't all be deleted so I wanted to know how to erase everything and restore my PC back to how it was the day I bought it.

I've searched around the internet for how to do this and most people tell me to use the disc that came with it but I've thoroughly searched the packaging and no restore disc came with it so I can't do that, is there any other way?

Thanks in advance.

P.S. I'm not extremely knowledgable when it comes to computers so I might need more step by step help. xP

Do you have a drive on your computer with the name along the lines of "recovery" or "backup" ?

Sometimes companies will reserve a partition on your hardrive for restoring back to factory default.

My bro has acer. Turn on PC and when the ACER screen comes up just read the options. One should say something like F11 = Recovery. On that screen tap the required key until it loads to the next screen. Then just read the options to find recovery.
Be sure to disconnect all added hw internally AND externally before you run the recovery.
