CMOS Battery drain, BIOS reset each boot

HELP!!! I have a PM9100D "M571V5",
Just set system up with AMD K6-2 333 Mhz CPU, 128 Mhz RAM,
rest of the board standard.

1 problem is no manual therefore, no jumper settings "Did best I could"
Pretty sure I have it right infact, BIOS posts good at 333 Mhz recognizes
all settings etc.

However, while attempting to load an operating system, when system setup
restarts system CMOS is cleared enter setup is required. Settings restored to
default. usually accy by CMOS battery low warning. Have replaced CMOS
battery 5 times saying result each time. Unable to load operating system
because this ^&#%$&* keeps happening.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check that the clear cmos jumper is set correctly.
I think I found the problem. The problem was in the BIOS configuration. I'm checking that now to see if that is the case.
