Close one window and they all close.

I should begin this reply by pointing out that I am in no way a tech professional. Having said that, I checked out a few different tech forums, and one response made me think. It had to do with toolbars, and using ADD/REMOVE. One person indicated trouble after having installed the necessary downloads for their computer. Then I remembered, about two weeks ago (before my problems began) I downloaded from Lexmark, so I could print at home using my housemates printer. Once I removed this download from my computer, I could close one IE window without the others (I happen to have open) closing as well.

In IE tools>options>advanced and under Browsing is the box "reuse windows for launching shortcuts" checked. If so uncheck it. THat should solve the problem.
