I bought a larger drive and would like to copy the old drive on to the new one with all the operating system its updates and other installed software. The old drive will be removed and saved for an emergency.
I have the Western digital retrospect software. Could you please guide me?
Thank you for your attention

Unless retrospect has changed, it is backup sotware, not cloning software. It is designed to create a backup file of selected data, not to create a clone or an exact sector by sector duplicate of a drive. Another problem you will encounter, a clone implies it is an exact copy of the source drive, meaning the new clone will be the exact size of the source drive. You will need to use third party software such as partition magic or easus partition manager to add the unused space on the new drive to the image. You probably wnat to try driveimagexml - do a drive to drive copy or xxclone
