I just copied a bank statement to the CLIPBOARD no problems. But I am stuffed if I can find where to open it :4-dontkno I am assuming that because it did say "copied to clipboard" that I do actually have it :4-dontkno No jokes please :sayno: its got to be here somewhere.......

If you open Notepad and click Paste, does the bank statement appear?

Unless I'm using a very old clipboard (I've got Windows ME) I think it can only store one Copy To Clipboard at a time, so if you close down the program or copy anything else, it will be deleted or overwritten.

Windows clipboard works exactly the same as the copy/paste function. You can only copy one* item at a time to the clipboard, each new copied item removes the previous.If you want to keep the stuff you copy you can paste it into notepad[or whatever you use] and save it. If you haven't copied anything else since the one you are looking for you could right click and paste to notepad and read/save it there but if you have shut down the computer without saving it then its lost.
