Running 64 bit vista sp2 home premium on a Asus laptop, 4 gigs of ram, Intel Core Duo 2.0 GHz, the browser I generally work with is Firefox.
The problem I'm having recently is I'll copy something, say, a word. What I've been troubleshooting with is the word "vista." I'll copy something with the intention of pasting it into multiple search boxes as I go. For example, different search engines. Eventually, whatever I had copied simply will not paste anymore. If I right click paste is greyed out and ctr v does nothing at all.
I haven't been closing Firefox when the problem originally occurred, but research led me to try copying and pasting into another program after closing the program I copied from. This works fine, but after a few minutes it just won't paste anymore.
I have ran a disk check and defragged for all the good that does, but I was really stretching for a solution. One of my friends just told me to increase my cache in Firefox, so, I'm going to give that a try next and I'll post again if that seemed to fix it.
If anyone knows what is going here, I would be eternally grateful for a response.
