Clevo D400P Inbuilt Webcam Driver

6299 Views 10 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  think199
Hey,
My Clevo D400P laptop has an inbuilt webcam. Worked perfectly fine when we first got it untill my cousin re-formated it. Now when I try and use it, it shows up as blue and orange lines going horozontally on a grey background.

Could anyone give me a hand on how to fix it?

Cheers =]

Sounds to me like the correct drivers were not installed. Go to the manufacturer's site and make sure that you have the correct drivers for the device.
I went onto the site and it doesn't have the driver. I've gone through Google aswell. But I can't seem to find one that works.
Can you paste the site of the manufacturer up here for us so we know exactly what model you have?

I went to the downloads section but it only have drivers for the D400F and the D400V.
They are there. They are listed as: D4X0P The X is just a variable for the different models in that series, D400P, D410P and so on. Try updating the drivers and see if you get your webcam to work.

Here is the link to the driver page for your model:

It's not letting me download the driver for the PC Camera. Do you think you could try and download it and upload it onto FileFront or something please?
Try mirror 1, I have a bad link on mirror 2.

If not, PM me with your e-mail address and I will e-mail it to you.
Mirror 2 is now working for me. Thanks anyway.
Ok. I'll get off of the server then. Let me know how that works out for you. It's a slow download for me....
Thanks heaps man. It's working now. I owe you one.

It was really slow for me, I was getting about 1kb/s off of mirror 1 and then got about 12kb/s off of mirror 2, so I got it from mirror 2.
