Just got a newer pc CPU 2.8GHZ & 760 MG RAM. Tried to load Civ3 on and it will not play. Attempted to repair from disk (it's the real thing not a copy) when this function failed to work I tried to uninstall this does not total remove it from my pc and when I reinstall it still wont work. I'm not real good with computers but I struggle through with help, but this one has me beat

Uninstall it with Revo uninstaller
http://www.revouninstaller.com/

Copy the contents of the CD to your hard drive to install the game

go into My Computer
right click on the CD
explore
copy and paste to a new folder
and run setup.exe as administrator.

to do the administrator thing, do this.
right click on setup.exe
properties
compatibility (tab)
run as administrator.
