checksum validation failed for the pin entered error

Hey

I am trying to connect via wireless only dell inspiron.

I have the wireless pin off the bottom of the thomson router. and typed it in when it says device ownership password. This didn't work.

Any ideas on why it might not have worked or what i could try to get it to work?
