hi i'm planing to upgrade what I've already got.

at the mo I have a dell inspiron 531 which hasn't been altered except 2 more gb of ram added.

I want to replace the mobo, cpu and ram.

At the mo the cpu is a AMD processor however I want to overhaul that with a intel mobo and a intel core 2 quad

these to be precise

mobo

cpu

ram

I can't find a good spec for the mobo anywhere but I am struggling to find info on the dell inspiron 531 psu I don't want to replace it but if I have to I will.

Also I'm not a hundred percent sure what form factor the inspiron 531 is I think it is mATX (hence the mobo) however if I am wrong then there may be problems.

I am not sure if it can handle one of these though I think it can

I am also planing to move my old 320 gb hdd with all our files on plus a new 500 gb one. both are sata.

can anyone see any problems? will it be alright with the current psu? is it the correct form factor?

You linked to the RAM twice and no Mobo link.
The link to the ATI card doesn't work.
WD would be a better choice for the Hdd.
Using an OEM case can be a headache.
