I just got the new CoD and the icon was there for the first day but now it has strangely changed into an Icon of planet earth. I went into properties and browsed for the icons and selected it but this did not change the icon on the desktop. I now downloaded CPUID HW Monitor and there is no icon for this, it looks like when you try to open a file that you don't have software to open the file with. Let me know if you can help please!

Can you post a screenshot of the icon, and right click on it select properties and take a snapshot of that also.

Did you click on the link and follow the instructions and do those steps? Or did you run the Icon Cache Rebuilder? What happens when you restart Windows Explorer? Tell us more then just

it didn't help my issue
