Does windows startup and run ok otherwise? cdm.exe is discussed widely on the web as Adaware or a virus usually associated with adult content popups. If you have just removed a virus or run programs to clean your machine they have probably deleted the file but not the link in the registry which tries to run it.
You should go to the virus section of the forum and follow the instructions so the security team can look at your logs to confirm you do not still have an infection.
