Welcome to the forum, Mofo. (boy, I enjoyed that almost as much as answering our member "Moron's" first post.)

If your new CDrom is working correctly and you set your bios to boot to the cd, with win98se or win2k you don't need a boot disk or a config sys. It just starts loading like magic.

What OS are you planning on installing?

Is this the full version of Win95 or is it an upgrade? If it is an upgrade you will need a copy of 3.1 or 3.11 on floppies to install the upgrade.

You can download a Win98 startup disk here and it will give you CD-Rom support.

Then you can load Win95 if you choose to do so.

After you get to the a prompt your CD-Rom will be "E"...:D

BTW Wecome to the forums 82nd Mofo

Thx guys. Im loading win98 on it now, and it seems to be going well. The win95 stuff just wouldnt detect the cd-rom.
Thx for the welcome too. Nice forums you got here, VERY helpful to the un-l33t like myself.
