Hello,

I'm not an expert when it comes to CD-R/CD-RW operation, but I burned a video file onto a CD using my DVD-RW/CD-RW combo drive at 48x speed.
After the burn process was finished, I tried running it on my standard CD-R drive which can read up to 24x speed. The problem was, the CD-R drive stalled when it tried to open the file, although it was able to detect that the disc had been inserted. I then tried to run the disc with the drive that I had used to burn it and it worked just fine.

Does my CD-R drive have compatibility issues since it is 24x read and my DVD-RW/CD-RW drive is 48x write?

If not, what else could be the problem? Thanks.
