For some reason when i change CD/DVD's My Computer does not recognizing the media change and lists the previous contents until the window is refreshed by pressing F5 or View->Refresh.

Is there a fix?

This was a problem in Windows XP that was (supposed to be) fixed in a Service Pack [I can't remember if it was Service Pack 1 or Service Pack 2]. If your computer hasn't the latest Service Pack installed on it, make sure to visit Windows Update & grab that, plus the 40 or so Updates that have been issued since SP2 was first released. SP2 is a very large update = if you access the Internet by dialup, see if a kind friend can download SP2, and many of the updates since, for you = and burn them onto a CD. It will save a great deal of time.
