I have Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2 on an Acer Aspire 5920 Laptop. Recently my CD/DVD (TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-L632D ATA Device) drive has been malfunctioning. I try to burn a cd, whether it be data, audio, or even video, none work. I am using Windows Media Player 11 and the latest version of Itunes and neither will burn the cd and i have even attempted using other 3rd party burners. The same error keeps popping up saying that it has an error with putting the files on the CD. It never actually burns but says it does on the program. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drive and multiple cds and many different burner programs but none help, any suggestions?

A Google search turned up a lot of problems with that particular drive and Vista, most of which were driver related. So check device manager for yellow exclamation marks and try reinstalling the driver for the drive.
