Hi,

Both my computer and my wife's computers (both with XP SP2) are connected through a wireless internet connection to an ADSL router.

For some reason, suddenly I can't see my wife's computer and she can't see my computer. Both our computers do not have firewall installed (XP's firewall is off and the computers have only Eset Nod32 Antivirus).

I've tried to ping my wife's computer but didn't succeed (the same for pinging my computer with my wife's computer).

I would appreciate any help in this matter. I don't know much about computers and couldn't find any solution that may help me.

For each of the computers, please do this.

Hold the Windows key and press R, then type CMD to open a command prompt:

In the command prompt window that opens, type type the following commands, one at a time, followed by the Enter key:

Note that there is a space before the -n or the /ALL, but there is NOT a space after the - or / in the following commands.

NBTSTAT -n

IPCONFIG /ALL

Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter to copy the contents to the clipboard.
Paste the results in a message here.

If you are on a machine with no network connection, use a floppy, USB disk, or a CD-RW disk to transfer a text file with the information to allow pasting it here.
