Hi

I can't use more than 2gb of ram ddr2 on my computer and it's supose to work and it don't. I try with 3gb and 4gb, the harware start but windows doesn't start.
I'm working on xp pro sp3, dual core1.6 ghz, motherboard: 671t-m(v1.0) with AMI bios

Are you using 2 sets of matched pairs? Please list the ram specs.

Is this your Mobo?
ECS 671T-M (V1.0) LGA 775 SiS 671 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Intel CPU on an ECS Mobo with SiS chipsets could be your problem.
ECS Mobo's are pretty low quality to start with.
Intel CPU's prefer Intel chipsets.

I have 2 kingston kvr800d2n5/2g
2gb pc2-6400cl5 240 - pin dimm
they are exacly the same.
