guys help me pls, last night my uncle reformat my PC then he insert his USB
but the USB have a SALITY VIRUS, (we dnt know the virus in the 1st place)
he told me that he cant reformat again because the VIRUS can go back after reformat. we cant use any anti virus like something blocking them. he have a PC on his own. and same as problem as me because of his USB. then he SCAN his HARD DISK in other computer so can detect the VIRUS then he found SALITY VIRUS. he told me to scan my HARD DISK in other computer too but i dnt have any other PC so he told me that i can remove the SALITY VIRUS by searching in the inter SALITY REMOVAL TOOL. ive scan many SALITY REMOVAL
they detect it. 1st i cant RUN my anti VIRUS ( NOD ) and SPYBOT after i scan the sality removal tool. i found 3 sality virus and detele it. after that i can install the SPYBOT and i can open the NOD but i cant update NOD. so that i cant scan ANTI VIRUS because its not updated. although the spybot is normal now. so i tried to uninstall the NOD and install other ANTI VIRUS but seems it cant open either. when i tried to install the other ANTI VIRUS nothings happened like something block it. and i tried to visit the other website of any ANTI VIRUS but they always said that (problem loading page) (server not found) somethin like they dnt want me to acces any anti virus. i cant USE SAFE MODE. when im using safe mode it goes BLUE SCREEN then said that problem has been occured. some VIRUS etc.... i can open NOD but cant update. i cant instal AVAST and PANDA. cant safe mode. cant acces to any anti virus website. help me pls guys i dnt know what to do

Hello CyikEs,

Sality is a file infector that will infect legit files and programs and travel to others. Your uncle need to wipe that USB drive - remove all files and reformat that or he will continue to infect any PC he plugs it into.

Sality also does not clean up very well. All it takes is a removal tool missing just one infected file, and it spreads across your system again. Let's see how badly it has made its way through your system.

See if you can access this site for an online scan. Establish an internet connection & perform an online scan with Firefox or Internet Explorer at Kaspersky Online Scanner

**Note**

To optimize scanning time and produce a more sensible report for review:
  • Close any open programs
  • Turn off the real time scanner of any existing antivirus program while performing the online scan.
Click Accept, when prompted to download and install the program files and database of malware definitions.
  • Click Run at the Security prompt.
  • The program will then begin downloading and installing and will also update the database.
  • Please be patient as this can take several minutes.
  • Once the update is complete, click on My Computer under the green Scan bar to the left to start the scan.
  • Once the scan is complete, it will display if your system has been infected. It does not provide an option to clean/disinfect. We only require a report from it.
  • Do NOT be alarmed by what you see in the report. Many of the finds have likely been quarantined.
  • Click View scan report at the bottom.
  • Click the Save Report As... button.
  • Click the Save as Text button to save the file to your desktop so that you may post it in your next reply.
