I had to reinstall Windows 10. I have a WDLMyCloud 2 TB device connected to the router by cable. When I click on Network in File Explorer I get an icon that opens access tot he device, not thee share folders. I've tried entering the ip address in This PC but get the same results. I had the same problem when I switched to Windows 10 but it was so long ago I forget what the solution was.

You probably might have to enable SMB1 and CIFS shares in the Windows Features. Go to Programs & Features, Turn Windows features on/off and then find SMB10 and enable all the three legacy options and restart the computer and test again.
