I'm trying to connect a HD, but it's totally not recognized anymore als not with a extern connection reader.

Is it possible that the circuit board is broken. Is there something like a fuse on it , is there a way to check it with a meter.

It's a seagate drive.

Seagate's enclosures are typically configured with a sector size of 4096 bytes. When you remove the drive from its enclosure and connect it to a SATA port inside your computer, you expose the drive's native 512e sector size. Sector 0 is still in the same place, so Windows still sees the partitions, but every other sector is displaced by a factor of 8. Essentially you now have a 4Kn file system on a 512e HDD.
