i have other media players (realplayer, quicktime, crystal, Divx 6) but none of them work, and could you tell me how to uninstall windows media player 10 because whenever i try to run the setup it says i have a newer version installed when i have uninstalled win media player 10 in the add/remove programs menu. I think it must be still in the registry or something!
no error message, sorry i didnt explain this properly lol. ok i click on the video i want to play the appropriate media player loads up, the pc then goes crazy the CPU usage goes up to 100% and it just basically completely locks up being so slow that its quicker to restart than go into task manager and end the media player.
