Cant log on my computer!

While in safe mode go to start, run, type msconfig, check diagnostic startup. Restart in normal mode, and if your computer starts fine go back to msconfig, click the startup tab, and check each item one by one and restart, as soon as the problem comes back you know that the last thing checked is causing the problem, so go back to safe mode, uncheck it, and check the rest.

Thanks, But have you ever heard of this happening to anyone before? This is wierd and I have never had it happen before!

:4-dontkno I'm back, well I just tried what you said to do by checking diag. this disables everything! So, when I restarted it did the same thing! This time though, it didnt even go to a blue screen, it say logging on, then saving settings and logging off! Please help!!!! :dead:

Okay.. Just a couple of basic questions..

1.) How long have you had Windows before you started noticing this problem?

2.) Have you tried using System Restore?

3.) Are you Canadian?

-razz: LOL, I forgot all about system restore, but I still would like to know what causes something like this to happen! Oh I am an american, but a very forgetful one! Thank I guess I will go do a system restore now! Wish me luck!!! :sayyes:
