I just built this PC and everything seems to be running fine, well as far as i can tell without being able to see anything on a monitor. The fan on the graphics card is spinning but when I plug the monitor I cannot get a signal. I cannot plug my monitor into the motherboard.

Also, I'm using a VGA cable. I must admit I do know for certain that the mobo and gfx card are compatible. I had this build checked online and by 2 friends all said it looked fine. I'm not quite sure how to check for compatibility either.

Has this machine ever posted yet?

If not then you'll need to bench test it first , since the machine isn't posting it can be any component and not just the gpu.

I figured it out. I didn't have a 6-Pin PCI Express Power connector plugged into the video card.

Your PSU is OK but not the best quality. The CX-GS-M Corsair Series are not recommended. You should be at 650W with the 6770 to insure sufficient power.
