538 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  2xg
I cannot get connected to the internet. I get no or low connectivity. I have tried all the tricks suggested. What else do I try without wiping everything clean and starting over. When I go to cmd to get the IP address- it gives me no ip addresses IP address- 000 and subnet mask-000. Any suggestions?

Re: Limited or no connectivity

and welcome to the Forum

I moved your post to the Networking Forum where you will get better help.

How are you connecting? Wired or Wireless? What is the Brand Model of Modems and Routers ( if any )

When connected to your Modem/Router, ry this:

Click on Start . . Run . . type CMD

At the > prompt type type the following command: IPCONFIG /ALL

Note that there is a space before the /ALL, but there is NOT a space after the / in the following command.

Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter. Come back here and Paste the results in a message.

If you are on a machine with no network connection, use a floppy, USB disk, or a CD-RW disk to transfer a text file with the information to allow pasting it here.
