downloaded a program and went to set up and it gives me an error message no number tho and i cannot install it........went to microsoft and they blame the vendor.......went to vendor and they blamed my internet speed however i downloaded the same program three mo nths ago with the same speed...pls someone help

It would help a lot if you could tell us the name of the program or a link to download it.

Maybe you need to be an administrator to install it. Right click on the file and then click run as administrator.

SA, that option is only available if you're on Windows Vista or Windows 7. Windows XP has a "Run as" command but it's not available by the same means.

You do bring a good point, though. Make sure you're on an administrator account when you run the program. Most installations need to be preformed from those accounts.
