Cant connect to a game server hosted on my network

Alright so I bought a poweredge 2950 server so I can run my server files and headless clients so my main machine which I have been testing on doesn't lag. The issues I am having are that I am no able to join my own server on my own network. I tried with the internal IP of the server still nothing and even DMS+ mode on my router which still didn't work. It worked one night perfectly but then after some windows updates and a restart I was unable to join in the morning. I have ports 2300-2350 UDP & TCP and my server is on 2302. At one point I could join, my friend could join but only because he is using the same ISP as me (AT&T) and then other users non AT&T had to port forward to even see it. I know that my port forwarding is correct due to my teamspeak 3 server hosted on my server because my friends who cannot see the arma 3 server can connect to that aswell as a test minecraft server we did which is why this is puzzling me so much.



If any help is given thank you I have worked on this for a while and do not know what to do thanks.

Have you used a port check tool to see if your ports are actually open on the server?

You mention ports 2300-2350 UDP & TCP . those appear to be used by Heros 3 but you make no mention of the game nor all of the required ports.

You mention teamviewer3 but again don't confirm the ports you have configured

Please do the following:
post the results of a ipconfig /all for review
post the results of a tracert yahoo.com for review
list all games and ports associated with them you have configured in the router for review.

I did mention a game I was trying to run which is Arma 3 which requires at least ports 2302-2305 but it adds 12 to that for each instance of a game server running so I do that for redundancy.

Well I think I got it working but have no real grasp on how I did that but its the ports 2302-2305 in regards to arma 3. It did this before as in work for a little then I woke up that morning and it was not working again.

I was able to connect locally and on hotspot on my laptop so it seems fine for now but like I said this has happened before.

I misread your OP, your having problems connecting LAN side not remotely. That's good because your config looks fine.

Can you ping the IP of the server from your machine? Can you telnet to any of the other open ports?
