I am running a windows 2003 server in my home network.

The problem is I cant view the websites from inside the local network everytime i try the url from my browser it sends me to the log in screen of my router.

The websites load from any computer outside of my network.

My router is a Buffalo WHR-G54s and is set at 192.168.11.1 server is on 192.168.11.5

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Phil

Try the actual IP address of the web server on your local network, in this case 192.168.11.5. You can also put an entry in your HOSTS file to name it something like INTERNAL_WEB or the like.

The only time I setup a web server here, it was no problem to access it internally. I'm not sure why the under construction page comes up, but it sounds like it's going to the wrong place.
