i know there is a PRINTER forum, but for some reason thats the ONLY forum im not allowed to create a new thread in.. Weird. IF a MOD comes across this i would appreciate if this glitch was fixed and if he can transfer this thread to the PRINTER forum. (if its not some weird glitch then im not sure what i have to do in order to create a new thread in the PRINTER forum) Thanks in advance for when/if its fixed.
**EDIT** If this thread is moved to the PRINTER forum, can the MOD allow me access to the PRINTER forum, because im not even allowed to see the different threads in that forum. When i hit the PRINTER foum im prompted to enter my username/password even though im already logged in. If this is transfered i obviusly want access to that forum also... seeing as i wont be able to see the responses
Thanks
Ok, now to my issue......
1) Should i get light "photo" CYAN/MAGENTA/BLACK for my printer seeing as i do print images alot.. or is the "regular" cyan/magenta/black ok?
2) i read that when printing photos; "regular" cyan/magenta/black doenst set well on finished/photo paper. Is that true?
3) if the above question (#2) is true, then is it noticable to the naked eye? is there a HUGE difference in quality? Will the ink smudge?
4) hypetheticaly if there is no difference in how "regular" or "light photo" inks set on the photo paper then do you think there will be a visual difference in the colors(if the same photo was printed with all "regular" ink.. then with all "light photo" ink? (noticable to the naked eye?)
I have these questions because use my printer alot i dont want to compromise the quality of my photo's when i print them so i just want to make sure i buy the correct ink for when i refill my cartriges.
PS: i also bought cartriges with resetable chips (i hope they actually work) because i never can tell how much ink i actually have in the cartriges because when i refill them my printer still "senses" that they are emptry.... and im simply tired of my printer showing that they are empty.. even if they really arent. I guess im splitting hairs with this issue but it's something that bothers me slightly.
THanks in advance for the answers and comments to this Thread.
