Canon Pixma IP5000 problems

Hi all, I found this site while googling for a problem I have. I have a Canon Pixma IP5000 printer that is 3yrs old and it has decided to stop printing. First it was the 3ebk tank now the others 6bk/c/y/and m. Is there any reset functions that may be stopping it from printing? Excessive ink in the bottom ink pad area? How can I check?.
