Canon MP250 Not Printing

My Canon MP250 printer is not printing. And I have wondered if it's due to connectivity issues with the cables.

The cable shape needed to plug into the printer to power it.


The cable end shape that I'm using that's slightly different.


The original cable that powers it on is missing. I lost it. So, I'm using a different one. It still plugs in and still powers the printer on.

And I still get the message: The printer is offline.
Check that the printer cable is connected and the printer power is on.

If anyone knows a solution to my printer problem, please answer me.
