I have a Canon FB (630 I think) scanner. When it is connected to the computer and the drivers installed correctly, the scanning program does not recognize that there is a scanner connected. I am using Windows 2000 but I have also tried using the scanner with 2 different PCs running Win98. The scanner has power going to it as it moves slightly when the power is connected. My friend has the same canon scanner and the same issue. Is this a common occurence for Canon Scanners? This scanner is connected through the parallel port.
