Getting the classic "error: 0x8002801c" error message.
Having a different problem on a customer's computer that led me to re-registering his scrrun.dll in syswow64.
The weird thing here is that I cannot unregister the dll but I can register it.
Logged in as administrator, running the commands from a batch file that I right click on and "Run as Administrator"

Code:
Set TARGET_DIR=system32
if exist "c:\windows\syswow64" Set TARGET_DIR=syswow64

cd c:\windows\%TARGET_DIR%

regsvr32 /u "c:\windows\%TARGET_DIR%\scrrun.dll"

regsvr32 "c:\windows\%TARGET_DIR%\scrrun.dll"
I get the same results when I do it manually through a command prompt.

Any helpful thoughts?

Corday: What space? Are you referring to between the slash and the "U"? There is no space there, it is just a poor font design making it look that way.

Jenae: I'm assuming the first pass of the batch file would register it, especially as I get confirmation that it did so. That means that the second running of the batch should find a registered dll waiting to be unregistered, correct?
