What version and patch level of Windows on the machines?
Is this a local file sharing failure, or is the one machine completely disconnected from the network?
On a failing machine, do this:
Start, Run, CMD to open a command prompt:
Type the following command:
IPCONFIG /ALL
Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter.
