When trying to copy to pen Drive the following error comes:
Error Copying File Or Folder
Cannot Copy 01-Track 1: Access is denied.

Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected
and that the file is not currently in use.

My Operating System is :
Microsoft Windows XP
Home Edition
Version 2002
Service Pack 3

Registered to:
hp

My Laptop is HP Pavilion dv2000

I have run the Qucik Heal Anti-virus software and it shows no viruses

I have included 2 screen shots - 1 of OS and 2 of error.
Please help.

How are you trying to copy to the pen drive?

Copy and paste?
drag and drop?

What kind of file or files or folders is it?

does the pen drive work on any other PC ? does it have files on it already that you can click on and read? if none of the two operations work, then I suspect your pen drive maybe history (damaged/failed).
