I have cyber cafe, and have problem on more then three computers, User's Cannot send mail's, When they click reply or New Message on Hotmail, then the page will be stop. It will not work, more then that.. Message box will not appear and can't write the message.


i have posted the link here, as Picture, please look it and give me ideas.

Hi dipendra,

I see from the screenshot that you are using FireFox as your Web Browser.
Considering the fact that Hotmail is a Microsoft® company, perhaps you should try Internet Explorer, because it may not function correctly with FireFox.

Give this a try and post back with the results.

I got the same problem in Internet also, I have both Internet Explorer (Microsoft) and Mozila Firefox.
But couldn't open reply page of hotmail on both....

Are you accessing Hotmail directly from the Internet at http://www.hotmail.com, or through Windows Live Messenger (formerly MSN Messenger)?

i tried from both, directly from web browser and also from msn messenger, i have installed opera too, I checked from opera but the problem is same. At last yesterday i formatted computer too, but the problem is not solved.
I can't send messege only from hotmail reply/compose.
but yahoo and other mail's are working.....

Seeing that Hotmail is a web-based email account, I think that the problem stems from Hotmail and not your computer.
I suggest that you contact the Hotmail support from their website and ask if they have a solution for your issue.

That HJT Log is of no use to me I'm afraid, as I do not know how to interpret them. :grin:
Post back after you have contacted Hotmail with the outcome.

I use hotmail with firefox on a mandriva os.

Solution:

Open about:config. Enter this into the firefox address bar.

Search for the string 'general.useragent.vendor'

Right-click on the string to bring up a menu and select 'Modify'.

Change "Mandriva" or whatever it says to 'Firefox'

Restart Firefox and you should be able to compose again.

I have the same problem the other user is having. How can you actually contact Hotmail support? I looked on their web site and couldn't find anything. I'm accessing Hotmail through a link I created in Favorites. I never had a problem until about a week ago, about the time I installed Kodak's software for digital imaging---which I uninstalled two days later because it everything ran very slowly and it didn't seem to do anything different from software I already have.

Each time Hotmail hangs, I have had to kick myself out with Task Manager. I dutifully complete the report to Microsoft in the vain hope that I will get the link directing me to their "possible solutions" site. No far, no luck.

I would appreciate any help anybody can give me. For a 60-year-old chick, I'm pretty computer savvy.
